Upon your arrival to Cappadocia, collect your luggage and proceed to outside terminal and you will find your driver awaiting you with the name sign and you will have a private transfer to Cappadocia – a popular area famous with its cone-shaped geological formations.

A scenic drive brings you to one of the amazing underground cities Ozkonak or Kaymakli. Signs of an early troglodyte lifestyle are evident in the communal kitchens blackened by smoke, stables and storage spaces carved into the rocks as need arose. The maze of living quarters hundreds of feet below ground is startling proof that tens of thousands of people existed deep within the earth. The Underground city has a massive living complex beneath the surface that includes churches, stables, wineries, and storage rooms.

We’ll make a stop at the village of Avanos, renowned for its historic houses, pottery, and onyx. The area has been a pioneer in terra cotta artistry since 3000 BC, dating back to the era of the Hittites. Here, we’ll enjoy a demonstration at a traditional family-run pottery house and participate in a workshop. This immersive experience will provide insight into pottery craftsmanship and offer access to traditional Turkish crafts.

We will enjoy panoramic view of the famous Pigeon Valley where for centuries the locals used to keep pigeons in niches carved in the rock for their valuable fertilizing manure.
