Please note: Payment of a deposit constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions, which take effect immediately.
1. Definitions
Terms Used:
- The “Company,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Travel Turkey and Beyond, a brand of Vira Natura Tours (TURSAB Registration Number 7938), operating under Four Friends Tur. Gıd. Bil. San. ve Ltd. Şti.
- The “client,” “you,” and “your” refer to all individuals named on the booking, including any individuals added or substituted at a later date.
- The “Lead Name” is the individual making the booking on behalf of all travelers in the group. The Lead Name must be at least 21 years old at the time of booking.
Force Majeure: Refers to unforeseen events beyond the Company’s control, such as war, threat of war, civil unrest, terrorism, natural disasters, pandemics, extreme weather, and other similar events.
2. The Contract
By booking with Travel Turkey and Beyond, you enter into a contract governed by Turkish law.
3. Booking
These terms apply to multi-day tours arranged in advance. Day tours have separate terms outlined below.
- A provisional booking may be made via email, phone, or online. It will only be confirmed upon receipt of a signed booking form (sent by mail or scan) and a deposit of 20% of the tour cost, payable via bank transfer or credit card.
- If we cannot confirm your booking, your deposit will be refunded or transferred, as preferred. We advise checking availability via email or phone before sending payments.
- For bookings made within 45 days of the tour, full payment is required at the time of booking.
- Once we confirm your booking and issue an invoice, a binding contract is established.
4. Deposits
a-A non-refundable deposit of 20% is required for all bookings.
b-The minimum deposit is €50.
c-Full payment is due 45 days prior to departure.
d-Once a deposit is paid, the cancellation policy in Clause 5 applies.
5. Amendments and Cancellations
Cancellations by Clients
- Clients may cancel at any time by submitting a written request (mail). Cancellation charges will apply as follows:
a-More than 43 days before departure: Full refund, minus the deposit.
b-42 to 29 days before departure: 25% of the product cost.
c-28 to 15 days before departure: 50% of the product cost.
d-Less than 14 days before departure: No refund.
e-Partially used services: No refund.
Amendments by Clients
- Changes must be requested in writing by the Lead Client.
- The first change is free unless otherwise agreed; subsequent changes incur a €50 administration fee.
- Changes cannot be guaranteed and depend on availability.
Transfer of Booking
- A booking may be transferred to another person if:
a- The substitute agrees to these Terms and Conditions.
b-Written notice is provided at least 43 days before departure.
c-Any price difference (if applicable) is paid by the client.
A €50 administration fee applies to transfers.
Cancellation by the Company
- The Company reserves the right to cancel tours due to insufficient bookings. Clients will be offered an alternative or a full refund.
- In cases of force majeure, a full refund will also be provided.
6. Passports and Visas
You are responsible for ensuring your passport is valid for at least six months beyond the travel date and has sufficient pages for stamps or visas. You must also ensure compliance with vaccination and health requirements.
7. Insurance
Travel insurance is mandatory and must cover:
- Cancellation fees.
- Medical emergencies, repatriation, and evacuation.
You are responsible for obtaining adequate coverage and must bring proof of insurance on the tour.
8. Changes to the Tour by Us
- The Company reserves the right to alter or cancel tours, accommodations, flight schedules, or other arrangements.
- Minor changes, such as equivalent accommodation switches, may not be communicated but will be implemented without compromising quality.
- Major changes will be communicated promptly, and clients may: a. Accept the changes. b. Transfer to an alternative tour. c. Cancel the booking for a full refund.
We are not responsible for delays or changes caused by airlines, weather, force majeure, or other unforeseen events.
9. Your Responsibilities
- Notify us in writing if changes to your booking are required.
- Changes within 45 days of departure are considered cancellations, and standard fees apply.
- Other changes incur a €50 fee and any associated costs from service providers.
10. Health
You must be in good health and capable of meeting the tour’s physical demands. Declare any medical conditions before the tour and provide a doctor’s certificate if requested.
11. Complaints
If you are unsatisfied with any aspect of the tour, notify your guide or contact our office immediately. We will make every effort to address your concerns.
